Coming Soon from All Kinds of Friends
We’re so excited to share what’s next!
After introducing young learners to inclusion and friendship in our Different Kinds of Friends workbook for early elementary students, we’re expanding our journey of kindness and understanding into the upper grades.
Grades 2–3:
We All Belong
Building on the foundation of empathy and acceptance, this next workbook helps children explore what it means to belong—especially when friends learn, communicate, or experience the world in different ways. Through thoughtful stories, engaging activities, and classroom challenges, students will practice celebrating diversity, showing empathy, and being allies for their peers.
Grades 4–6:
Walk in My Shoes
As students grow older, friendships and social dynamics become more complex. Walk in My Shoes invites upper elementary students to look deeper—beyond surface differences—and truly explore what it means to understand and empathize with others. Through reflective lessons and real-life scenarios, students will take a thoughtful journey into the experiences of peers who are neurodivergent, have disabilities, or may simply see and move through the world differently.
This workbook helps children cultivate genuine empathy, compassion, and the courage to stand up for others. By “walking in someone else’s shoes,” students gain a more in-depth understanding of inclusion, advocacy, and the many ways we can all help create a community where everyone belongs.
