“We were honored to have Natalie visit with our classroom to speak about differences and understanding students with special needs. She has a remarkable ability to connect with children, using clear language, relatable examples, and interactive moments that kept every student involved. The presentation emphasized the importance of kindness, empathy, and respecting differences', lessons that will stay with them far beyond the classroom.”
Ms. Georgie & Ms. Debbie Sussex Montessori School Anna Ornelas Sussex Montessori SchoolAs a kindergarten and 1st grade teacher, having Natalie come into our classroom to read the workbook scenarios was such a great experience. The book helped my students learn about disabilities in a very natural, age-appropriate way and made talking about differences feel comfortable in our classroom. They really enjoyed the stories, and it led to some really sweet conversations about kindness, empathy, and understanding each other. It also gave them the vocabulary to help them talk about differences and helped build a more inclusive classroom community. We can't wait for more experiences like this in the near future!
