The book helped my students learn about disabilities in a very natural, age-appropriate way and made talking about differences feel comfortable in our classroom. They really enjoyed the stories, and it led to some really sweet conversations about kindness, empathy, and understanding each other. It also gave them the vocabulary to help them talk about differences and helped build a more inclusive classroom community. We can't wait for more experiences like this in the near future!
